Freedom Insurance Services Limited has relaunched CHEW Insurance following its acquisition of the brand, offering UK customers flexible car hire excess waiver cover for vehicle rentals in the UK and overseas.
Underwritten by AmTrust Specialty Limited, CHEW offers single-trip and annual cover options, helping customers manage excess charges and additional fees linked to car rental agreements.
Cover includes excess reimbursement and additional benefits such as car recovery, loss of use, administration fees, key cover, misfuelling, and personal possessions protection.
The policy is available to UK residents aged 23 to 84 and complements standard hire company agreements by reimbursing eligible costs that customers must pay upfront following an incident.
