There’s no one-size-fits-all when it comes to Parkinson’s, so we don’t treat it that way. Our prices are based on your current health when buying travel insurance. We’ll ask a few simple medical questions like whether you use any mobility aids, need help with daily activities or have been diagnosed with dementia. We’ll also ask about your medication, so we can offer the right level of cover for your situation.

We have specialised in covering pre-existing medical conditions since 2002 and understand the importance of obtaining an adequate policy when travelling with Parkinson’s. Whilst there is no cure for the condition, treatments including physiotherapy, medication and occupational therapy are available and we will account for this by asking you to complete a medical screening. We’ll ask relevant questions to assess your condition including whether you’ve been diagnosed with dementia, use any mobility aids or require any additional support with eating, dressing or washing.
Our insurance prices for parkinson’s is based on a person’s current state of health at the time of taking out a policy, but it is always important to declare your diagnosis and any other conditions to ensure that we have all the required information in the event of a claim.
