Milan comes in at third place of Lonely Planet’s top ten cities to visit in 2015. Between May and October, Italy’s second-largest city will transform over one million square metre fairgrounds into an ancient roman banquet packed with street performers, cookery demonstrations and wine tasting. It is anticipated that approximately 144 countries will join in. If you get the chance, do head to one of Milan’s many rustic taverns.
