Activity cover
If you’re thinking about an activity holiday, we have a great range of activities that we cover as standard. We know that age is just a number, so our activity cover is available with no age restrictions on our single trip policies.

Having launched a new range of travel insurance products, we are able to offer cancellation cover at £1,500, £5,000 and £10,000. This means you can get tailored policies to suit your trip requirements and we can cater more appropriately for the growing number of travellers that are spending less on their holidays every year.

Freedom has three levels of cover, the cover limit depends on the cover level selected. Benefits are per person, per trip.

Freedom travel insurance policies are only available to permanent UK residents who are registered with a GP in the UK. Cover is not available to residents of the Channel Islands or IOM. You must be fit to travel at the time of purchasing insurance cover.
We use a medical risk assessment tool to enable us to provide you with a quote. You will be asked a number of questions about your medical status. From the information provided we will base our quotes on your health status.
Yes. Our whole aim is to cover you fully, if you do not declare all of your pre-existing medical conditions then you will not be fully covered in the event of a claim and risk invalidating your insurance.
As we operate an on-going medical warranty, you will need to inform us of any health changes that occur between your quotation/purchase date and the date of travel. We may be required to ask additional questions to ensure your travel insurance is up to date and fully covering you for the trip.
We cover you from the time you start your trip right up until the day you return back to the UK, (except for cancellation cover which starts when you buy the policy and ends when you start your trip).
We accept all major debit and credit cards except American Express. You can make payment online during the customer quote journey, or by calling the Freedom team on 01223 454 290.
We’ll consider cover for people while they are receiving medical treatment including chemotherapy. We base all our quotes on individual circumstances. However, we cannot cover the actual cost of any on-going treatment that you know you will require during the trip, such as dialysis or the cost of chemotherapy treatment itself. When getting a quote answer the medical screening questions as of today.
