Why Cover Your Diabetes?

Holidays cost good earned cash and medical expenses abroad can be expensive. The question you must ask yourself is,’ would you be happy to be out of pocket should your diabetes be the cause for holiday cancellation or emergency medical treatment abroad?’ If not, then the solution lies with a tailored travel insurance policy that covers pre-existing medical conditions such as diabetes.

It may be that your diabetes is well managed and does not impact on your daily living but it is still important to declare it. Freedom quotes are based on your current health status and in many instances; diabetes will be covered at no additional cost.

It is also worth considering insuring your travelling companions on the same specialist policy whether they have medical conditions or not. With Freedom, your companions will be covered in the event of having to cancel or cut the holiday short due to your diabetes.
