Previously known as the Money Advice Service, Money Helper connects you with specialist insurers, including Freedom, who understand your unique needs.

Why Use the Money Helper Travel Directory?
Freedom would like to provide guidance on how to obtain a travel insurance quotation that includes cover for more serious medical conditions that go beyond our scope or cover.
Money Helper provides a directory of firms specialising in travel insurance for customers with serious medical conditions, including ours. Money Helper cannot provide you with a quote, but the directory provides a searchable list of specialist firms that can. All firms are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
If you have a medical condition and struggle to find affordable travel insurance, the Money Helper directory can help by:
- Connecting you with specialist providers like Freedom.
- Ensuring transparency in policy coverage and pricing.
- Helping you compare options to find the best deal for your health and travel needs.
If you meet the following criteria, this information may be relevant to you:
- You have been declined a quotation due to a medical condition.
- Your policy has been cancelled due to a medical condition.
- You have been offered an insurance policy with a medical condition excluded from cover.
- You have been offered a policy with a load of more than £100 due to your pre-existing medical condition(s).
- Your Insurer has not made the load for your pre-existing medical conditions clear.
