There is no cancellation cover if you are unable to travel due to Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) advising against all or all but essential travel. Policy cover will be invalid if you travel against the advice of the government (FCDO), any regulatory authority or medical advice.
"Excellent company and great service. I have used Freedom for many years. Peace of mind that we are covered for medical conditions and can enjoy our holiday. Very easy to use, online quotes and staff on the phones are very helpful, thanks."
You can apply here online or over the telephone; it’s quick, simple and totally confidential. To provide you with a quote, you’ll need to let us know where you are travelling to, and for how long. Make sure to declare all your pre-existing medical conditions for all travellers.
You will be guided through a medical screening questionnaire, where a series of relevant questions will be asked to assess your health and each individual condition. These questions should be answered accurately and to the best of your knowledge.
You will then be presented with available policy options, which include cover for declared medical conditions as well as cover for cancellation, baggage, personal accident and lots more.
When to purchase single trip insurance
You should purchase your policy once you have booked your holiday, you will then be covered for cancellation cover from the purchase date
Cover your whole trip
You need to cover your whole trip, taking into account the day that you arrive back in the UK
On a single trip we are able to rate on the country that you are travelling to, which enable us to offer a fairer price
We don't have an upper age limit on our single trip policies but the available duration will vary depending on age.
Our policies are available to you if you are permanently resident in the United Kingdom (UK) and registered with a general practitioner (GP) in the UK. No cover is available to residents of the Channel Islands or IOM.
We use a medical risk assessment tool to enable us to provide you with a quote. You will be asked a number of questions about your medical status. From the information provided we will base our quotes on your health status.
